We choose deadstock fabric
We explored various materials—Next Generation options, synthetics, made-from-cellulose fibers, biobased, printed, patterned…. but meeting minimum order quantities and production requirements proved challenging for a small project.
That’s when we teamed up with Fu Son Garment and found deadstock fabric—unused textiles from production or canceled orders. By repurposing these materials, we’re creating something new from unwanted fabrics and cutting waste!
Using already-produced fibers is a smarter choice than making new ones. It’s about being part of the solution, one stylish tee at a time!
Choosing Our Manufacturer
In our search for the ideal garment manufacturer, we prioritized ethics, environmental impact, and local production. Partnering with Fu Son Garment in China, just a hop from Hong Kong, allows us to minimize our carbon footprint and ensure responsible production with shorter delivery times.
Fu Son is committed to social compliance, offering fair wages, lunch, and improving working conditions. Kingsley, the owner, has created a comfortable environment with air conditioning and invested in new machinery for efficiency. They share our dedication to sustainability and positive change.
Plus, Fu Son uses #INVISIBLEBAG for their brand, NORMANS, aligning perfectly with our mission. Together, we’re making stylish, responsible choices for a better future!
Fun fact: we reverse-engineered the process and found that 46 people—using 92 hands—are involved in making your INVISIBLE TEE, from raw materials to delivery. The final touch is our team, who hand-write your designated numbers on your INVISIBLE TEE.
About This Production
Transparency In Our Invisible Tee
Transparency is key to responsible consumption. Here’s a clear look at how we’ve priced INVISIBLE TEE 'Invisible City: Hong Kong Edition', so you can see exactly what goes into it.
Our Hike Clean-Up Club is a grassroots effort where our team spends weekends cleaning remote areas. This effort goes beyond picking up trash; it builds community, raises awareness, and sparks conservation conversations.
Each event involves careful planning: Designing engaging campaigns, using social media to recruit volunteers, conducting site checks, coordinating logistics, gathering the right equipment, sharing marketing recaps to highlight our impact.
With every contribution, you help us power these clean-up efforts and promote a responsible, clean Invisible Trail. We’re not aiming for perfection but continuous improvement. Our goal is to maximize positive impacts with the resources we have, proving that doing things differently is possible—and we’re making it happen with one INVISIBLE TEE!
360 Degrees
INVISIBLE TEE embodies our 360-degree holistic approach to sustainability, covering material selection, impactful graphics, packaging, labeling, social and environmental impacts, and style!
Responsible Packaging
You can bet the INVISIBLE TEE will be packed in our #INVISIBLEBAG! But we’re stepping it up with a special #INVISIBLEBAG 2.0 that we've been perfecting for the last two years. A groundbreaking poly bag made from 95% bio-based content derived from sugarcane.
It’s still water-soluble, compostable, and biodegradable—just from a regenerative source. We’re all about keeping it responsible while making sure your tee arrives in style!
