#INVISIBLEBAG is water-soluble, compostable, biodegradable, proven to be non-toxic and leaves no harmful residue on earth. An alternative for manufacturers and brands to replace conventional plastic packaging.
Water-Soluble
#INVISIBLEBAG dissolves in hot or boiling water (80℃ or above) within a few minutes, also in cold water at a slower rate.
Compostable
#INVISIBLEBAG is certified compostable by the US standard ASTM D6400 and the EU Standard EN13432.
Anaerobic Biodegradable
#INVISIBLEBAG has been tested under ASTM D5511 requirements and the result shows more than 85% biodegradation in 90 days under landfill conditions.
Environmentally Safe
#INVISIBLEBAG is non-toxic proven by EEQ and OECD 208 tests; whilst the FTIR analysis also shows that it doesn't contain PP, PE, PS, PVC plastic.
Eco-friendly Printing
#INVISIBLEBAG uses eco-friendly ink containing no heavy metals or ketone, proven by EEQ test.
High Tensile Strength
#INVISIBLEBAG's tensile strength performance is equivalent to plastic packaging.

#INVISIBLEBAG is a solid barrier to oil, grease, chemical, aroma, gas and organic solvents.
HOW TO DISSOLVE #INVISIBLEBAG?
We recommend dissolving* it in 80℃ hot water or above. Simply put the bag in a container and pour boiling water on top, after a few minutes it will have dissolved. After the dissolution, you can pour the remaining liquid down the drain where it will be treated at a sewage plant. When the dissolved #INVISIBLEBAG arrives at the sewage treatment plant, it will be consumed by microorganisms and completely break down to only carbon dioxide and water, with absolutely no formation of microplastics.
*Before dissolving #INVISIBLEBAG garment bags or mailer bags, please cut and dispose of the adhesive tape strip.
#INVISIBLEBAG IS TESTED & CERTIFIED
#INVISIBLEBAG is made of a water soluble and biodegradable combination of Polyvinyl Alcohol (known as PVOH), starch, glycerin and water. One of the primary ingredients, Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVOH), is a water-soluble and biodegradable synthetic polymer. It was invented in the 1920s by German Scientists, and has mostly been used in medical, embroidery, garment and personal applications since the 1960s, for products such as medicine capsules and laundry detergent pods. And #INVISIBLEBAG has tested and certified!
ASTM D5511
ASTM D5511 determines whether a material is biodegradable under high-solids anaerobic-digestion conditions; the test result shows that over 85% of the #INVISIBLEBAG have biodegraded in 90 days.
FTIR Analysis
FTIR analysis is a material test that detects and identifies chemical compounds in products. We appointed the quality assurance provider, Intertek, to perform an FTIR analysis on #INVISIBLEBAG which certifies that it doesn't contain PP, PE, PS, PVC plastic.
Vitargent
Vitargent is a biotechnology lab based in Hong Kong. It conducts EEQ tests to screen chronic toxicity. #INVISIBLEBAG show no estrogenic activity and are confirmed to be environmentally safe. EEQ test uses modified medaka embryos with jellyfish DNA as a cruelty-free testing method.
OECD 208
The OECD 208 standard studies toxicity level in plants after a material biodegrades in testing soil. We appointed the quality assurance provider, Intertek, to perform an OECD 208 on #INVISIBLEBAG which proved that it has no negative effects for germination rate or plant growth.
ASTM D6400
The American ASTM D6400 is equivalent to the EN 13432 in the E.U. It certifies material as compostable whereby 90% or more of which will break down to carbon dioxide (CO2) by microorganisms within 180 days in ideal composting conditions, while the remaining share is converted into water and biomass.
EN 13432
The European EN 13432 is equivalent to the ASTM D6400 in the U.S. It certifies material as compostable whereby 90% or more of which will break down to carbon dioxide (CO2) by microorganisms within 180 days in ideal composting conditions, while the remaining share is converted into water and biomass.
